Purpose of this policy

This site exists to share my personal experiences of living with multiple sclerosis. It isn’t a business, a clinic, or a data-gathering operation. This policy explains—in plain English—what little information is collected when you visit MyMSisMe and how it’s handled.

What data is collected

  • Analytics: Anonymous statistics about which pages are read and for how long (via standard WordPress analytics or Rank Math insights). No health information or personal identifiers are stored.
  • Comments & forms: If you leave a comment or use a contact form, your name, email address and comment text are stored so the site can display or reply to you.
  • Email subscriptions: If you choose to subscribe, your email address is used only to send new-post notifications. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Cookies: Small text files may help the site remember your preferences or count visits. They are not used for personalised advertising.

How data is used

Collected information is used only to:

  • Understand which topics readers find useful;
  • Keep the site running smoothly; and
  • Respond to comments or messages.

I do not sell, rent, or share data with anyone.

Third-party links

Occasionally I link to trusted resources such as the MS Society or NHS pages. Once you leave MyMSisMe, their privacy policies apply.

Your rights

You can:

  • Request to see any personal information held about you;
  • Ask for corrections or deletion;
  • Withdraw consent at any time.

Simply use our contact page and I’ll respond as quickly as MS allows.

Changes to this policy
